GLASS HALF-FULL;

An animation and digital design project exploring the reality of depression in an dystopian, cyber-punk world. This animation was made as part of a Digital Internal and Art Design portfolio over 2-3 months.

Tools used: Adobe Illustrator, Blender, Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Animate

Awards: Top Art Exhibition 2023, Outstanding Art Design Scholarship (NCEA), Technology Scholarship

Life comes to a standstill, locked out as the feeling of emptiness becomes overwhelming. Until a small robot is found in a dumpster. From there, life seems to take a good turn. New hope gets set alight as the world can be seen with new eyes.

SCENE DESIGN

The bedroom was modelled in Blender, with a focus on creating a realistic and immersive environment. Some assets such as posters and packaging were designed in Adobe Illustrator. A cell shading effect was applied to match the overall aesthetic.

City scenes were all created in Adobe Illustrator, with a focus on capturing the vibrant and chaotic essence of a cyberpunk world.

AUSA STUDENTS' MANIFESTO

A Students' Manifesto I designed for the Auckland University Students’ Association, representing the collective voice of students at Waipapa Taumata Rau, University of Auckland. Working closely with my client, I developed a manifesto that captured their branding, visions and values of the student community in less than a week.
